This was a referral from my good friend Kevin at Kevin's Bartending Services. It was an awesome event and a birthday/Toga party. There was some great food and lots of dancing. It was in the Bird Rock area of La Jolla, but you'd never guess when you look at the pictures! Great decorations, music, food and dancing.

       
While my main expertise as a DJ is a Wedding DJ here in San Diego, I had to DJ a lot of parties to get to that level. This was reminiscent of the simple days where DJ'ing consisted of dancing dancing and more dancing.

         It was a great night all around and at one point a group that was bar hopping in the area peaked in and were tempted to crash the party. They should have because I am sure we were having more fun than anyone else in town.

       Well I can't really find the words to fill for this party other than Kevin is a great bartender, the lady who through the party left a great review on Yelp.com for our company, and I had an absolutely awesome time. I love being a DJ in San Diego!

This was another beautiful and elegant wedding that makes me very thankful I am a San Diego Wedding DJ. With a view like Paradise Point and it's surroundings overlooking the bay and Sea World, it's really hard to complain. The bride and groom were a very cool couple. They had one of the most unique ideas I have seen at a reception. I was told to announce "Instead of tapping your glasses to have the bride and groom kiss, you must stand up with your entire table and sing a song with the word love in it". Believe it or not, every single table at the reception stood up at some point during dinner and sang a song. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it to get your audience into the event.

       The dining room was particularly elegant as you can see here. The view was amazing outside so I had to take a couple of pictures of it. The lighting was great as well, and the catering staff really knew what they were doing.

        
Here is a shot of the first dance and although you can't see it in the photo, there was still a nice view from the large windows at the entrance of the room. No matter how many beautiful weddings I DJ in San Diego, I can't get over the beauty surrounding us in San Diego County. We are truly blessed to live here.

Later in the evening, they danced. This was such a great day for everyone that just about all of the guests were there up until the end of the evening which to a Wedding DJ, is about the boldest sign of success you could ask for.

This was a mexico theme party at the Ocean Hills Country Club in Oceanside California. This is a group of members belonging to the country club and they through a party at the community center located within the gated country club community. This is a really large and almost hidden area in Oceanside with a beautiful golf course, community center and many nice homes throughout the community The group really loved to dance and there wasn't much room on the dance floor throughout the evening.

       Here they were just getting ready to party while filling up on some delicious mexican food and some tasty margaritas. They made sure I had plenty of refreshments and some of them were even in Mexican attire. I was playing to the event with background music that fit the theme. I truly enjoy hearing Gypsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club and Elvis Crespo, so it was a very nice mood.

        
This couple just couldn't wait for dinner to get started so they hit the dance floor to the background music I was playing. This group truly loved to dance!

       
And here of course you can see that there wasn't room anywhere on the dance floor. There were people dancing on the concrete that was aside from the dance floor. This went on for the entire course of the evening and I must admit, I didn't see it coming. I don't know if I have ever seen a group this large, that didn't leave the dance floor for a break in the entire three hour dance set I played that evening.

This took place at the Lake San Marcos Country Club in North County San Diego. This was a very festive Wedding with a lot of dancing as well as cumbias, salsa and merenge being played throughout the reception. While I am not a fluent Spanish speaker, I certainly have had to learn how to entertain the hispanic crowd over the years. The bride and the groom were a lot of fun and this is usually a reflection of how the guests are going to be as well.

       Lake San Marcos has a nice ballroom. I have DJ'd a High School reunion and some other events here but this was the first wedding I have DJ'd here. The food was authentic mexican food and it was extremely good. There is a nice patio located to the side of the room for the smoking crowd which overlooks the golf course.

        
Sadly these were the only two photos I took of the event and they aren't all that great. If anything you can see that the people were having a great time and it was one of the more energetic weddings of the year.

I don't know if all Wedding DJ's are as fortunate, but here is another amazingly photogenic Wedding. The bride was a complete professional at party planning and if you were at the wedding you would have agreed. The wedding coordinator had something to do with it too. Matt Phipps of Choice Entertainment was the DJ for this wedding at The La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art.

       The lighting was great! I wish I would have had time to take more photos but I was rather busy being that there was so much going on at this reception. The videographer provided a day-of Wedding Video too that he edited on the spot. It was a moving presentation.

        


A little less talk... People were dancing the entire night! I think they were just as enamored with the surroundings as I was.

       The pillar kept getting in my way but I am sure you can see that it is a beautiful place to have a reception.

This has to be one of my favorite Wedding ever. We essentially built a wedding venue with our bare hands on the sand at Torrey Pines -- tents, catering, DJ, bar and ceremony with flowers and firepits for later in the evening, all in a matter of hours. Was it easy? No. It was hard work, but it was worth it, to be a part of such a well planned and accomplished event.

       This was earlier in the day. I wish I had taken more photos, but this is what I had time to capture. Still lots of daylight here right before things were getting started.

        


The sun was going down here, and people were starting to dance a bit more. People were so captivated by the atmosphere, that there was actually less dancing then most of my events, but I didn't mind becausee we were all having a great time!

I had the opportunity to DJ a party for a party planner! This was a tent he set up in his backyard and had professional lighting, catering, and me the DJ!

       The lighting was very expensive laser lighting that you can rent from party planners or purchase for several thousand dollars. The wedding consisted of mostly Wedding professionals. I had a great time!

Although it's a little late, here are some pictures of Halloween 2007. I was DJ'ing at the Coyote Bar and Grill in Carlsbad California. Everyone danced and had a great time until the Bar closed down. I host Karaoke at Coyote Bar and Grill every Monday night from 6 - 10 P.M.
